HOW TO GET TO MACAU

From Hong Kong International (HKIA)

From HKIA, you may use the SkyPier, which provides a direct bus service to Macau without requiring you to pass through HK Customs. The journey to Macau takes approximately 40 minutes.

The Airport Direct Bus ticket (also available at this link) can be purchased at HKIA for 280 HKD. After landing, follow the signs for the “SkyPier Terminal” or “Transfer to Macau” to locate the ticket counter. Staff will assist you with collecting your luggage and placing it on the bus. The Direct Bus will take you to the Macau border gate at the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macao Bridge (Chinese: 港珠澳大橋).

Please note: If you arrive at HKIA after 8:30 pm, the Airport Direct Bus may not be available. In this case, exit the airport and take a taxi to the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macao Bridge Hong Kong Port. You can purchase a bus ticket to Macau on-site for 65 HKD. For more details, visit this link.

Navigation app

For navigating Macau or finding your way to the campus, keep in mind that Google Maps and Apple Maps may not work effectively, especially for campus locations.

  • If there isn’t a direct bus to the campus, search for "Rotunda Marginal/Zonas Ecológias" (海滨圆形地), which is one stop away. From there, take bus lines 71, 72, or 73 to reach the campus.

Transportation in Macau

  • Bus: If you wish to use the bus system in Macau, it is advisable to download the app "巴士報站" (DSAT, Transport Bureau of the Macau S.A.R.), available on the App Store. The ticket price is 6 MOP.

  • Light Rail: There is no direct light rail service from the campus to your residence, but you may find it useful if there's a light rail station near your hotel.
